oh, man, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for that comment to come across that way, I meant that I am 32? And I am certainly not old or feel the need to term myself "years young." And I have worked with a number of people in their 50s and 60s ("seniors") and they are really not that old, and are in fact still quite active and creative and that using that phrasing "years young" is rather telling of the fact that they have not, or the tumblr-people would realize that you really aren't "old" at age thirty nor is your age something to be regretful over. My fiancee often comes home lamenting how young some of the vets she takes care of are -- and she's talking about veterans in their sixties, because she works with patients who are often well into 80s and 90s who are perfectly mentally spry. It just makes it really obvious that the people who made tumblr don't have connection with generations previous to them, or they would realize how subjective "youth" is.
Long ramble over, tldr; did not mean to offend, actually I think we are just about the same age?
Many things about tumblr are terrible it seems. Even people who have been on it for years seem to complain about this, so it looks like familiarity probably won't erase those annoyances with the UI.
